About Angela
Angela Rose McDonald has been tattooing for over fifteen years. Born and raised in Kitchener, ON. Over several years, she has had the opportunity to learn from other artists and define her artistic skill.
She has a background in classical art. This influence shapes her style and technique. Angela enjoys designing custom pieces and working with her clients to bring their ideas to life. She is also co-owner of Polka and Volt in Guelph!
Her versatile style includes colour, black and grey realism, botanical, geometric and nature themes.
Fine Art
Angela is primarily a self taught artist. She has studied classical art at professional art academies in Toronto, Canada. Her studies include classical drawing and painting based on 19th century European atelier techniques. Angela's focus is primarily on figurative and animal art. Her preferred mediums are oil and acrylic. Angela's classical training has influence over her tattoo style and technique.
